After doing PALs for Teens 9. The teens had so much fun and were so enthusiastic to share the seminar that they clamored for another batch for summer, we usually do one batch per summer. So we said ok as long as they can create the class themselves. The teens agreed.
Dale Garcia was appointed the Chief of Staff and Belli Calomarde volunteered to head the marketing efforts. Marvin Agor and Hanna Cunanan were the Assistant Chiefs.
It was inspiring to see their efforts in creating the class. They organized and called for a staff training to talk about how to enroll their friends and classmates. Belli was appointed Chief Marketing Officer for the Teens and handled most of the training. He had been successful in inviting a lot of teens to batch 9 and even had the guts and skill to convince the parents of most of the teens.
They even made a PALs Commercial shot during the staff training and edited by Dale Garcia and posted it on YouTube and Facebook.
Their efforts produced a class of 30 teens! We had many of the old grads helping out as volunteer staff and some just dropping by to hang with the new batch.
It was amazing watching the teens work their magic and make things happen. I am sure the experience will help them in their future endeavors in life. I am so proud to be a part of this phase in their lives.
