PALs 40

PALs 40 in Manila just concluded on Labor day at the Eurotel Hotel.

This was the first time we adopted the new schedule of 9 am to 7 pm daily. We used to have the first day schedule from 6pm to 12 midnight and 9 to 9 for Saturday and Sunday. This is better schedule for most of the people.

This was a very unique batch. We had 3 blind students, 3 SGV Partners, 1 GM for Rajah, 2 from Meteor Travel, 5 teenagers, 1 school principal, 1 executive director of Vista Land and 1 Vet. A diverse group indeed.

It was a lot of fun and learning from the different personalities. It was heartening to watch the blind being cared for by their batchmates. Their guides left them to fend for themselves not like the other blind students who had their guides with them.

The Chief of Staff was Venz Salvador and they had the theme of summer at the beach with the help of Mikey, Glendale, Pia and Jet.

The next Chief is Jet Chua and the next schedule is on July 15 to 17.
